ASUS today launched G73JH-X1 17.3 inch gaming laptop in the U.S. market through Newegg. Laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7 720QM quad core processor with 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 graphics, an 8GB DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, DVD burner, an 8 cell battery and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium OS. G73JH-X1 to feature 17.3 inch [1920 x 1080] LED backlight.

The new Packard Bell DOT NETBOOK 8.9 inches is powered by Microsoft Windows XP OS and Intel Atom processor, 160GB hard drive, 1GB of RAM, an integrated webcam, an optional 3G module and an optional 6-cell battery.

The portable gadget is available in Europe in November 2008 for £ 315.
