Sonim Technologies is not a stranger when it comes to reliable phones – the company already has released a number of very hardy phones in the past, and this time they lined up a couple of more models of mid-2009 release.
Latest additions will be known as the Land Rover S1 and S2 Land Rover G4, and both come with a protective case of XENOY, best described as “revolutionary post-consumer plastic basis used mainly of plastic bottles and film.”
Needless to say, the new Land Rover Range will remain faithful to its predecessors roots, boasting water resistance, as well as the ability to work under harsh conditions, including the 1.6-meter drop to concrete. There was no word on pricing as at press time, but they expect to fork out more than usual when they are available.
