NEC NP510WS and NP610S Wide Format Projectors

NEC has announced two new projectors to its short range in the form of wide-format NP510WS and standard-aspect NP610S. Specially designed for educational facilities and business applications that a short throw in the classroom and conference rooms.

These projectors offer a native resolution of up to 1600 x 1200 pixels, 600:1 contrast ratio, 2100 ANSI lumens (NP510WS), 2600 ANSI lumens (NP610S ) and 5000 hours of lamp life (in ECO mode). She is also comes with a built-in 7W speaker and various connectivity ports, including VGA, DVI-I, HDCP, RCA, S-Video and Ethernet.

The NP510WS and NP610S will start shipping in January 2010 for an expected price of $ 949 and $ 999, respectively. [via HighTechreview]
