BenQ Joybook Lite U101 Netbook Only US$ 500 (Taiwan Only)

BenQ launched its latest Joybook Lite U101 that offers a 10.1 inch display with backlight and a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is good to see the movie. BenQ will release 3,000 U101 netbooks in Taiwan and 20,000 units to China this month. You can get the BenQ Joybook Lite U101 now in Taiwan for about US$ 500.

In case you should have forgotten the Joybook Lite U101 has an LED-backlit 10.1-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1280 x 800 resolution. Running out of a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, this netbook is available in both 120GB or 160GB hard drive sizes, or 4 GB or 16 GB SSD options.

You can also choose to have netbook preloaded with either Windows XP Home or Linux. Other specs include an Intel 945GSE chipset with 512 MB of memory, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, an HSUPA wireless data module and more. It comes with a 4-in-1 memory card reader and a couple of 1.5W speakers.
